We collect the following data when you use Alite:

• Account information: email address and name (via Google sign-in)
• Videos: video files you upload for processing
• Reports: AI-generated defect reports and any manual edits you make
• Usage data: basic analytics such as page views and feature usage

2. How We Process Your Data

When you use the AI analysis feature, your video audio is sent to OpenAI for transcription and analysis. The resulting transcript and extracted findings are stored in our database. Video files are stored on Cloudflare R2.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google — authentication (OAuth sign-in)
• OpenAI — AI transcription and analysis
• Cloudflare R2 — video and image storage
• Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting
• LemonSqueezy — payment processing and subscription billing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Glitchtip — error tracking (Sentry-compatible)

4. Data Retention

Videos and reports are stored until you delete them. Account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (videos, reports, and account information) will be permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — view all videos and reports in your account
• Delete your data — remove individual reports or your entire account
• Export your data — download your reports

Alite uses session cookies for authentication purposes only. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
